"A little girl was looking for something to play with. The father began to think what he could do with it and found an old magazine. On one of the pages was a map of the world. He cut the map into pieces and gave it to his daughter to put together like a puzzle. After a while the child returned it arranged. The father asked her in amazement how she had done it so quickly. She replied, "Very easily. There was a person on the back of the page - I put it together and turned it back! I thought that if the man turned out right, the world would be right...".
With this parable began the concert "Angel Hearts", which took place on February 10. Its fourth edition this year was dedicated to Gergana Neycheva from Gabrovo, who is fighting bone cancer. Geri is currently undergoing treatment in Turkey and the results, although slow, are encouraging.
We're putting the world, and not just Geri's world, back together.
More than 400 people bought tickets for the concert, which was held in the "Vazrazhdane" hall. Many of them also left money in the boxes located in the lobby. The result at the end of the evening was exactly 4000 BGN.
Each of the participants in the concert sang, played or danced free of charge. Vera Boinovska, Ines Meteva, Dalia Kovacheva, Emily Tsoneva, Stiliana Tsaneva, group "Shining stars", group "Basement Tones", Ralitsa Stoycheva, rock group "Blitzkrieg", DFA Gabrovche, folk group "Peonies", Victoria Dimova, Show "Magia" ballet, Kristina Nedelcheva, Adriana Kaneva and Maria Koleva, Kaloyan Stoinov and Momchil Kolev, presenters Victoria Hristova, Marian Serafimov, Nikol Lesicharska, Nikola Vasilev, Martin Ivanov - each of them donated their talent and time to Geri.
But in fact The balance of the campaign of the Youth Centre - Gabrovo is much higher - the collected funds are 6 293.00 BGN. We placed donation boxes in the Municipality of Gabrovo /689 BGN/, Impulse AD /627 BGN/, AMK EOOD /527 BGN/, at the mini-football tournament in Orlovets Sports Hall /150 BGN/, OFK Yantra donated 300 BGN, Galvanic Workshop "Impulse" put their collected funds in the box during the concert "Angel Hearts". The whole amount has already been handed over by a handover protocol to a person close to Geri who will travel to her in Turkey.
