Youth Center - Gabrovo, Labour Inspectorate and Labour Office, Gabrovo organize joint event "I will work during the vacation". It is aimed at young people under and over 18 years of age, who do not have much experience on the labour market, and aims to give them guidance in their job search, to orient them on how to get a job, including if they are minors, what documents they should have, what to look out for.
The event will take place in Ritual Hall of Gabrovo Municipality on Wednesday, May 29, at 4 p.m.. It is free and does not require advance registration.
The Labour Office will present its services that young people can benefit from, will explain how they can register, how to get help with career guidance, preparing a CV and a motivation letter, how and where to look for a job.
The Labour Inspectorate will answer many of the questions that young people face - at what age they have the right to start working, what documents and permits they have to have, how many hours a day they are allowed to work, what are their rights as employees but also their obligations, is there work they cannot do if they are minors, where can they complain if the employer does not respect their contract or abuses their work.
Many young people will start work during the summer holidays and the event aims to protect them from unfair practices, but also to show them that, in addition to rights, they also have responsibilities that employers will expect them to fulfil conscientiously and responsibly.
All young people who are already working but have questions about their relationship with their employer are also invited.
