The festival "Rivers of the city - Gabrovo - Youth events against the current" received a diploma of distinction in the "Festival" category of the "ProKultura" awards. The awards are given by the Bulgarian Association of Employers in the Field of Culture (BAROK) and the Civic Institute, and recognize the contribution to expanding young people's access to culture. The awards were presented within the framework of the tenth national conference "Access of young people to culture", which was held in Burgas.
The event "The rivers of the city - Gabrovo - Youth events against the current" is organized for the third year in a row by the Youth Center - Gabrovo, the Municipality of Gabrovo and the "Collective" foundation. This year, the dates of its implementation are August 23rd, 24th and 25th, and the place is the bed of the Yantra River on "Avram Gachev" Street in the part of the "House of Humor and Satire" museum. The program includes concerts, exhibitions, theater and cinema, debates, an art bazaar and various creative workshops.
Awards were also presented in the categories "Overall Contribution", "State Cultural Institute", "Municipal Cultural Institute", "Cultural Organization", "Reading Room", "Media", "Municipality", "School", "Kindergarten".
In the "Festival" category, the grand prize went to APOLLONIA Arts Festivals for their 40th anniversary.
