FOURTH NATIONAL STUDENT COMPETITION„ВРЕМЕНА И БУДИТЕЛИ”
National Museum of Education in partnership with the Regional Department of Education - Gabrovo, announces the Fourth National Student Competition "Times and Alarm Clocks", dedicated to:
145 years since the Liberation of Bulgaria;
120 years since the Ilinden-Preobrazhensky uprising;
115 years since the Independence of Bulgaria;
110 years since the Balkan Wars.
To direct the students' attention to the historical memory of educational figures who participated in the struggles for national liberation and independence.
To stimulate interest among young people in researching personalities and events from Bulgarian history that cause national pride.
To enable students to express themselves creatively.
II. REGULATION:
Participants in the competition are students from V to XII grades from all Bulgarian schools in the country and abroad. The competition includes two categories:
• Making a poster with photos, documents, drawings, etc. on cardboard in 50/70 cm format for students from V to VII grades.
• Creation of a multimedia Power Point presentation with a duration of up to 10 minutes for students from VIII to XII classes.
Posters and presentations should include information about educational figures related to the struggles for national liberation and independence.
III. EVALUATION CRITERIA:
1. Thematic commitment;
2. Completeness of the presentation;
3. Artistic layout;
4. Creative approach;
5. Digital skills to create a presentation.
IV. AWARDS:
Jury determines FIRST, SECOND and THIRD place in the respective categories.
The organizers of the competition announce the results on November 1, 2023 on the museum's website: www.nmogabrovo.com
V. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION:
Submission deadline – June 30, 2023.
Posters and presentations are sent by mail with return receipt or by courier, at the expense of the sender, in a form that does not violate their integrity.
Each work must be accompanied by the participant's details (the three names, school, class, telephone, e-mail and address).
