National Poetry Contest "Awakening" is organized for the seventh consecutive time by the Youth Parliament of Ruse with the support of Ruse Municipal Youth House and Ruse Municipality on the occasion of the World Poetry Day - March 21.
The aim of the competition is to give young people who have an interest in writing poetry an opportunity to showcase their talent. It is an opportunity for young artists to express their soul and show their love for poetry.
The competition is open to students in grades 8 through 12. Participants should send unpublished pieces to:online.contest.yc.ruse@gmail.com with the theme "Poetry Competition" until 21.03.2024 incl.
Each contestant must provide their full name, city, address, school, grade, contact phone and email.
A competent jury will evaluate the literary value of the entries until 27.03.2024.
The results will be announced on 28 March 2024 on the Facebook page and Instagram profile of the Youth Parliament of Ruse, as well as on the page of the Youth House of Ruse and Online Contests Youth House of Ruse on Facebook.
The top three qualifiers will receive a certificate and a prize, which will be sent by post or courier at the recipient's expense. Alredy published works will be disqualified.
