Etar Museum is looking for volunteer helpers for the International Craft Fair

On September 1, 2 and 3, 2023, the International Fair of Traditional Crafts at Etar Museum is back and will be more impressive than ever.

Craftsmen from different continents will show their skills and sell their products. This is what awaits you on the days of the Fair!

  • International craft exhibition bazaar with craftsmen from 15 countries;
  • International master competition in the craft of kuyumjistvo (goldsmithing);
  • National Youth Jewelery Skills Competition;
  • International scientific forum "Traditional crafts: modern reflections" with representatives of 9 countries;
  • Folklore program with the special participation of Berkov brass music;
  • Exhibition "Crafts with a future";
  • Photo exhibition "Croatian Intangible Cultural Heritage in the UNESCO Lists";
  • "ArtZona" bazaar exhibition;
  • Third National Photo Contest "Ethnolens: Craft Fair";
  • Alley of flavors;

The museum's largest event provides an opportunity to involve volunteers to contribute to the smooth running of the program.

The main commitments of volunteers consist of:

- informing and orienting visitors about the program of the fair; completing feedback surveys (2-4 volunteers)

- interaction with the craftsmen and assistance when needed (e.g. replacing craftsmen at the stands, providing materials, etc.) (2-3 volunteers)

– distribution of food packages to the official guests of the fair (2 volunteers)

Volunteers will be provided transportation to and from the museum, as well as a food package.

In the week before the start of the fair, the volunteers will be instructed on site at the museum.
