Youth Center - Gabrovo took part in the event "Model your future", organized by the Municipality of Gabrovo. In it, the center presented its work and invited young people in the city to join the volunteers or the various interest clubs. The youth workers also presented the events that are coming up in the coming months - the participation in the environmental festival "Uzana Polyana Fest" in July, the youth festival in the Yantra river bed "The Rivers of the City - Youth Events Against the Current" in August, "Collaboration for Success" - a three-day event on entrepreneurship and marketing in September, the initiatives of the Youth Parliament - Gabrovo, the Program for financing youth projects.
The event took place in two parallel zones - dedicated to teachers and dedicated to young people. Educators listened to lectures about the possibilities of the Erasmus + program, received guidance from the IA Education Program for their projects, talked about the professions and skills of the future, the Internet of Things.
The youth zone started with a lecture on safe internet, how to identify the bad guys and how to protect ourselves from them. A technical university presented its work and specialties, and FFW talked about artificial intelligence. The Youth Zone was closed with the Youth Center panel and get-to-know-you games.
The event was attended by representatives of schools in Gabrovo, non-governmental organizations related to education, language schools, interest clubs, art schools, RUO - Gabrovo, the mayor of Gabrovo and the deputy mayor in charge of Education and Social Activities, teachers, students, parents.
After the lectures, an exhibition was organized in which various opportunities for education and leisure were presented.
