Already this week, a Christmas street decoration workshop will be launched, which will use materials that have become unnecessary for someone, but as it turns out - treasures that will bring Christmas comfort to the streets of the District 6.
Pre-Christmas creative workshops will be held every day from December 18th to 23rd and will reveal to the people of Gabrovo some subtleties in making Christmas decorations. Under the expert guidance of local craftsmen, every creative person will be able to make, paint or decorate their Christmas decoration and take it home. The workshops are suitable for young and old, and fun is guaranteed.
The School of Applied Arts of Iva Pencheva will be visiting District 6 with the exhibition "Gabrov's colorful rug made of silk, wood and paper", and on December 23, all amateur artists will be able to create their Christmas paintings - this time not on silk, but on – glass.
The Gabrovo Drama Theater has also chosen the District 6 to invite everyone to its Christmas performances with a short excerpt from "Stories with the Flavor of Christmas" on December 20 at 5:00 p.m.
Just a day later, the writer Radoslav Gizgindzhiev arrives in District 6, who will present his novel "Nedra" in the city's revival jewel - Dechkova Kashta. Gabrovo singer Gabriela Rizova - Gabsy will complete the experience with a repertoire specially selected for the event.
Again on December 21, the youth center organized a District 6 Treasure Hunt game with prizes. Those wishing to embark on this adventure will need to register in advance to participate.
Mulled wine, sweet delicacies, live Christmas trees, beautiful Christmas creations made by people of Gabrovo will attract passers-by from near and far in the District 6 from the morning of December 21. The Christmas market guarantees its visitors interesting offers.
December 22 is dedicated to the talented gabrovka Rusita Boeva, who will resound in the neighborhood with her favorite Christmas and original songs.
But what really is Christmas without a Christmas party?!
On December 23, Santa Claus decided to stop by the District 6 and, in addition to delighting the youngest guests, he will bring a photographer for professional photos and inaugurate the unique Christmas party in the courtyard of the Palau School. The Christmas party also has a dress code - "Christmas", and we will keep some details about it a secret for a little while longer.
Two contests will promote the artistry of Gabrovi residents in the period 18-23 December. The Youth Center has prepared attractive prizes for the youngsters who choose to capture the atmosphere of the events forever by entering the upcoming photo contest. The organizing team, for its part, has provided sweet prizes for the residents and businesses in the neighborhood to let their imagination run wild through the Christmas decoration of commercial establishments, offices, residential buildings, inter-block spaces.
