Foundation for Entrepreneurship, Culture and Education (FECE) invites young people between the ages of 18 and 30 inclusive to participate in the International Citizen Journalism Competition, part of the Erasmus + project JOUR-YOU – Citizen Journalism Academy for Youth . It aims to develop the skills and knowledge of young people related to media literacy, creating journalistic content, analyzing and selecting information, recognizing fake news.
The international citizen journalism competition will be held in the period September 15 - November 14, 2023 and will include participants from the partner countries of the JOUR-YOU project: Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Egypt, Italy, Jordan and Tunisia. To enter the competition, young people should prepare and submit material on a topic and in a format of their choice (text, image, video or a combination of these).
After the evaluation of the submissions received from each of the seven countries, one winner will be selected who will be invited to the International Youth Conference (part of the final phase of JOUR-YOU) in Athens, Greece, where they will receive their prize, creating valuable contacts with young people with similar interests. The event will take place in March 2024, with the winners' travel, accommodation and food expenses covered by the conference organizers.
We will be happy if the Bulgarian winner of the competition is from Gabrovo!
