"We are launching the CONTEST RACE in which you are running. Let your imagination run wild. Free your mind, if you need any technique for this - we are here again to help. Enter the role of screenwriters, directors, artists, scene designers, lyricists, choreographers, actors, if something else occurs to you and enter his role, because "THIS IS YOUR STAR HOUR". When, if not now and where, if not in Gabrovo at the Carnival, you will be able to show your talent and tricks to make everything alive laugh, and if you succeed in something else - that will already be great.
From our side, we promise you the longest stage on which you can appear in Bulgaria, the best audience /certainly more than 30 thousand/ that you can imagine, reach in the networks - let's not be modest, but more than 100 thousand people, and most importantly, we promise a new prize fund - well, we're still celebrating 100+ years of carnival.

We would like to point out the wonderful prize fund: three prizes in the amount of BGN 7,000, BGN 2,000 and BGN 1,000
Anyone can participate in the contest, on age 16+, under the following conditions:
- Participants prepare a carnival picture according to this year's Carnival theme 100+ YEARS CARNIVAL GABROVO, in one or more of the following categories: satire, politics, economy, life, humorous pictures; musical pictures; dance pictures; heroes - historical, fairy tales, etc.;
- Participants send an annotation of the idea in one of the specified categories, an example scenario, number of participants, details, by filling out a request for participation through the form here.
- The number of participants in the carnival picture must be a minimum of 10;
- Each group has up to 2 minutes to present their picture to the jury at the official stand and commentary stations along the carnival route.
