Youth Center - Gabrovo announces a competition for photographs on the theme "Against the flow of the river".
Young people aged 15-29 are eligible to participate.
Photos are accepted in the following two directions:
- Reportage photography.
- Art photography.
Photos must be taken only in the city of Gabrovo, in the period August 24-26, 2023, during the event "The Rivers of the City - Gabrovo - Youth events against the current".
- Technical requirements for photos
Files must be in .jpg, .jpeg or .png format, over 2000 pixels on the long side and a minimum size of 3 MB. Be accompanied by a title. To be author's and to have been made during the specified period in the city of Gabrovo.
Minimal additional photo processing is allowed.
Every author has the right to participate in each of the categories with two photos.

Start of the contest – August 24.
The deadline for sending the photos is 23:59 on August 26, 2023.
- Announcement of nominees and winners.
The photos will be judged by a three-member committee on originality, quality, relevance to the theme, resourcefulness, artistry, capturing the spirit of the festival, its events and people.
All photos will be uploaded to a Facebook album on the page of the Youth Center - Gabrovo.
The winners will be announced on August 27, in the early afternoon, within the framework of the "Rivers of the City of Gabrovo" event.

!!! The organizers reserve the right not to emit a winner in any of the categories due to lack of participants or low quality photographs.
Please note that by participating in the contest, you accept the following conditions:
- Youth Center - Gabrovo will have the right to use the photos in its materials, publications, advertisements, etc.
- Youth Center - Gabrovo is not responsible for the authorship of the photos and claims by third parties.
- In the event that people are captured in the photograph, with their participation the author declares their consent for publication.
- Entrants agree to be publicly identified and photographed during the award ceremony.
