"Christmas in District 6" has already begun! You can see the entire program in the Facebook event at THIS LINK, and if you have free afternoons, stop by the Christmas workshops. They start at 4:00 p.m., the place is the hall of the Tourist Information Center. We have Christmas treasure workshops every day - take your pick and come along! The workshops are free for all handymen.
On December 19 "Sruchko" will prepare wooden Christmas figurines for you, which you can decorate yourself with yarn and hang on your Christmas tree at home. The workshop will be held between 16:00 and 18:00 at the Tourist Information Center - Gabrovo.
Teodora Hristova will be waiting for you on December 20, 2022 between 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Tourist Information Center - Gabrovo to introduce you to the decoupage technique and help you decorate your own Christmas figure. We thank Theodora for supporting its awakening as a resident and artist in District 6! Under her guidance, you will learn the basic techniques for preparing the napkin and the base, you will master the skill of gluing the paper to the tree, decorating with paint, varnish and ribbon your Christmas jewel.
December 21 We weave our last Christmas wishes in Teddy's workshop. "Hello, my name is Teodora and I am behind every made toy at TedyKnits. I've always wanted to do something with my hands, and what better than knitting. I like that each handmade product is unique in itself. On 21.12.2022, I will be waiting for you to dive into the world of yarn together," she invites us!
December 22 2022, between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., in the Tourist Information Center - Gabrovo, we will be working together with the Lyulache store. Here is a message from them: "What really enriches a person is creativity! And what's better than creating a little Christmas beauty ourselves?! I am Maria, also known as "Lyulyachetto" and it will be my greatest joy and pleasure to hold a Christmas workshop for making Christmas trees from fabric, which everyone will be able to decorate and shape according to their own wishes, and also transform in a Christmas tree ornament or fridge magnet.”
December 23. Painting Christmas pictures on glass with the artist Iva Pencheva. We know her from the delicate drawings on silk, but here we are in a wintery, fragile and equally beautiful challenge. The place is again the Tourist Information Center - Gabrovo - the hours are a little earlier, because of the Christmas party - 15-17.
And the party... The party is in the courtyard of the former auxiliary school, now the Buditelite community center, at 6:00 p.m. A Christmas mood and look is a must! There will be a DJ and… come on!
