The closing event of "European Year of Youth” (EGM) in Bulgaria – The National Youth Conference "Project for Future". The Ministry of Youth and Sports, as the national coordinator for the EGM, implemented a number of youth initiatives in the field of personal development, healthy lifestyle, creativity and civic engagement. It is time for balance sheet - about the achievements, lessons, challenges and "legacy" of the European Year through the eyes of young people from all over Bulgaria!
The National Youth Conference "Project for the Future" aims to bring together young people, youth organizations, active citizens, experts and representatives of high-level institutions. All of them will summarize the work and the results achieved during the European Year of Youth, will outline the future strategic direction for the development of both the youth sector and in other areas directly affecting young people in Bulgaria.
For the fulfillment of this goal, the Ministry of Youth and Sports will encourage dialogue with young people, as well as their inclusion in setting the agenda and the direction of important policies for the country.

A panel with working groups is planned for the "empowerment" of young people. They will be involved in preparing recommendations to the institutions. During the event, participants will can express their views and work on the following topics:
- Green policies and education;
- Youth health - physical and mental;
- Prevention against aggression, violence and various forms of addiction;
- Empowerment - young people in the decision-making process;
- Youth work.
