On 16 February, Friday, at 12.00 p.m., the "I Want a Baby" Foundation and the Youth Center - Gabrovo are joining forces to organize a free educational seminar within the innovative project "Young Bulgarians - Architects of Change", supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The workshop will be held at the "Hristo Tsokev" Art Gallery and is aimed at young people aged 15 to 29. They will be invited to participate in discussions and trainings on sexual, reproductive and mental health, active lifestyle and healthy eating.
The programme is customised to the needs of young people and aims to introduce them to important aspects of family planning and healthy living. Lectures include information on the importance of timely parenting and the challenges young couples face, as well as sexual and reproductive health, ovarian reserve depletion. Experts focus on healthy eating, active lifestyles and mental wellbeing, providing young people with practical advice and guidance.
The training seminar provides a comprehensive educational program including panels on:
Prevention and prevention of reproductive and sexual health;
healthy nutrition and dietetics;
physical activity and an active lifestyle;
emotional health and sleep quality.
The lecturers in the seminar are Dr. Alexander Kobakov - obstetrician-gynecologist at St. Sofia Hospital, long-time member of the Bulgarian Red Cross, Dr. Angelina Ivanova (Dr. Ann) - endocrinologist, nutritionist, Katya Simeonova - psychologist, who will speak on the topics of emotional health and stress management and Veselin Veselinov - basketball coach, lecturer on the topics of active lifestyle, sport and physical activity.
The project "Young Bulgarians - Architects of Change" aims not only to provide information, but also to support the formation of positive habits in young people.
The seminar in Gabrovo is part of the "I Want a Baby" Foundation's tour in 12 regional cities, which started last year and will continue until March 2024. The project continues its journey, inspiring young people in Bulgaria for a healthier and more successful future.

During the event, guests will also be able to get information about the Gabrovo Municipality's funding programme for couples with reproductive problems.
