How to apply?
Every young person across the country aged between 18 and 26 years oldwho is motivated and interested in learning more about the workings of the EU can apply, whatever their social or professional background and experience.
APPLICATION DEADLINE is 31 March 2024. (inclusive), but send your application as soon as possible to get an answer immediately: applications will be considered as soon as they are received and new applications will be accepted until the 33 places are filled!
What is the project?
The project is funded by the EU and involves 33 young people aged 18-26 from across the country who:
- learn more about the EU, its history, mission and functioning through the project website (phase 1)
- to engage, in live training in the period 25 April (arrival day) and 1 May (departure day) 2024, in a five-day training on these topics with teamwork methods, workshops, discussions, role plays, etc. The training will take place at the resort Sunny Beach (phase 2)
- after the training, returning to the cities where they live, to carry out a small initiative among friends, colleagues, fellow students to promote the EU, explain its importance in our daily lives and the need for all citizens to participate in democratic processes, including in the upcoming European Parliament elections in June 2024 (phase 3).
Why join the project?
Through this initiative, participants will gain analytical and problem-solving skills, teamwork ability, and strong leadership techniques. Young people will not only gain useful experience in decision-making at European level - during the activities they will have the opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas. Participants will improve their presentation skills and learn how to work as a team in a diverse environment.
Participation in the project will provide valuable knowledge about the European Union, how it works and the benefits it brings to all its citizens.
Participants will receive information on various EU education and youth programmes and initiatives through which they can get involved in projects at home and abroad.
