The partnership consortium between the Association for International Public Development (AIPD), the Fund of Funds and Sofia University invites you to join the implementation of the project "Incubators for Innovative Enterprises", funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the EU. The organisers aim to bring together business, education and administration leaders to meet young talents from the district and the region who have ideas for projects.
The main objective of the project is to stimulate partnership between young entrepreneurs in the country, through innovative teaching and learning approaches (simulations, role plays, physical and digital collaboration, etc.).
Who is the project suitable for?
All young and enterprising people with ideas, aged between 13 and 30, from Gabrovo and the Region.
What skills will you acquire?
- Generation and development of innovative ideas;
- Business Planning;
- Setting up and financing a new business; pitching to investors;
- Development of entrepreneurial skills, etc.

Participation in the project, after approval, е напълно free! The costs of participation in the project activities (transport, accommodation) are at the expense of the organizers.
Will participants receive a certificate?
All project participants will receive European Youthpass certificate. This certificate is the recognition tool developed for projects implemented in the European Youth Programmes. Through it, participation in such projects can be recognised as an educational experience and a period of non-formal and informal learning.
Who will be the speakers?
Prof. D.Sc. Prof. Tsvetan Davidkov - a professor at St. Kliment Ohridski University in Sofia. He teaches management and behavioral disciplines (Fundamentals of Management, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, National and Organizational Cultures, Organizational Behavior, etc.). With solid experience as a researcher, lecturer and consultant. Author of textbooks on ENTREPRENEURSHIP, etc. Involved in numerous business development, public administration and non-profit sector projects. Directs the University Center for Entrepreneurship.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Savina Mihaylova-Goleminova, Faculty of Economics of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", for the period 1993-2019 she was in the team of the Faculty of Law, Department of Administrative Law of the University. Lecturer in Financial and Tax Law and Head of the Master's Program "Economics and Management of Public Resources" at the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University "St. Kliment Kliment University". She is a member of the Sofia Bar Association, the European Association of Tax Professors (EATLP) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA). Author of publications in the field of financial and tax law. She has been advisor to the President of the 40th National Assembly (2005-2009, including IPEX correspondent of the National Assembly); advisor to the interim Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the coordination of the management of EU funds (August - October 2014), etc... She has been involved in the preparation, management and implementation of projects co-financed with EU funds in the field of public administration reform, environment, transport, etc.. Fluent in Bulgarian, English and Russian.
Assoc. Dr. Eng. Ivan Stankov - leading expert in the ICT sector, IT Manager and Deputy Head of the Cyber Security Department at the Faculty of Computer Systems and Management of the Technical University of Sofia. For more than 15 years he has been actively involved in non-governmental organizations, co-founder and deputy chairman of the Association of Young Scientists (AYS) and National Coordinator of the Association for International Social Development (AISD). He has extensive experience in the coordination and management of numerous national and international projects in both the public and private sectors.
Assoc. Ivan Angelov is a proven education expert with skills in international management, strategic management, investment management, international business strategies, leadership, organizational behavior and human resource management. He has participated in various research projects, scientific conferences and has publications in both national and international scientific journals. Professional with more than 20 years of experience in public and private organizations, project development and evaluation, finance, analytics and strategic planning. Results-oriented, dynamic and proactive leader with the ability to build effective teams with strong commitment. Has an outstanding track record in project management.
Dr. Eng. Dr. Dochka Vassileva - has over 23 years of professional experience in project management and financing. Since 2018 she has been working in The Fund of Funds as Senior Strategic Investment Expert and from January 2022 as Director of Project Information and Financing. He is a lecturer at UASG and Sofia University, as well as at the Institute of Public Administration, on European Funds, Financial Instruments and Sustainable Finance. She is a mentor at the Start-Up Hub of the UNWE and organizer of the national competition for "Best Youth Start-Up".
Principal asst. Dr. Desislava Kalcheva joins St. Kliment Ohridski" in 2019, initially as a visiting assistant professor, and in 2023 as a full-time assistant professor in the Department of Economics and Management of Industries. She has over 15 years of experience in public finance, including as a municipal finance expert at the Fund for Local Governments in Bulgaria (FLAG) and as a senior expert at the Fiscal Council of Bulgaria. Dr. Kalcheva's main research interests are in public finance, regional development and investment, and fiscal decentralization. Desislava Kalcheva has participated in the preparation of various methodologies related to the assessment of financial autonomy and the determination of the level of creditworthiness of municipalities. She is a member of the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe - NISPAcee and of the EUROPEAN URBAN RESEARCH ASSOCIATION.
Enyo Savov is a Doctor of International Law and International Relations. He teaches in the Departments of International Law and International Relations and National Security and Public Administration at the Neofit Rilski University in Sofia. He is a professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Foreign Studies in Blagoevgrad. He is head of the international department in a large Bulgarian company. Vice-Chairman of the "Association of Young Scientists" and has extensive experience in the development and management of European projects and in the NGO sector.
Vadim Roshmanov - has more than 15 years of experience in the civil sector (NGOs). He started as a volunteer and rose to become the head of organizations with significant regional, national and international status. One of these structures, of which he is the chairman, is the Young Scientists Association. During these 15 years, Vadim Roshmanov has managed projects with a total value of over 500 thousand euros. He actively participates as a lecturer on civic education and entrepreneurship in various forums and seminars. He holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science from the International University. Since July 2023 he has been invited to join the team of the Standing Committee on Education and Science of the 49th National Assembly, as an occasional contributor. He has experience in working with investors from other countries who have investment interest in Bulgaria. He also has 10 years of experience in the private sector as a sales manager for a Bulgarian wine and spirits company.
Danail Petrov - Economist by education, with more than 12 years of experience in international companies in the field of accounting and corporate finance. Since 2018 he has been leading teams of accounting experts in multinational corporations with centralized finance in Bulgaria. Since 2021, he has been the managing partner of a business, financial and legal advisory firm. The company's portfolio includes international and local companies in various fields (construction, financial services, brokerage, design and trade). Since 2016, he has been a member of the AMOR Association and actively participates in the implementation of all projects of the Association as a financial manager. The total value of the implemented projects exceeds 200,000 euro of European funding.
