The Municipality of Gabrovo joined the international project "Green Empowerment of Youth - Green Professions for a Greener Europe" as a partner.

Municipalities and organizations from Slovenia, Italy, Romania, Hungary, Greece, Spain and Bulgaria will be involved in the activities. Each partner city will host an event where young people will discuss ways to deal with economic, social and health crises and the European Green Deal processes.
It is planned to hold a forum in Gabrovo, which will emphasize the leadership role of young people in the implementation of the green transition and the development of jobs for ecological transformation. Participants will have access to expert opinions, best practices, guidelines for networking and cross-cultural dialogue.
The total cost of the project is 148,000 euros. The budget for Gabrovo city is 15,500 euros - a grant. The activities will continue until the month of October 2024.
