18th Youth Theatre Festival "Ocean of Love"

For the young people of theatrical art, we share this festival organized by the Municipality of Pazardzhik, Youth Home Pazardzhik and Youth Theatre "Friends".

18–th Youth Theatre Festival "Ocean of Love"-

Pazardzhik 29 March - 1 April 2024

DEAR FRIENDS, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the eighteenth edition of the OCEAN OF LOVE Festival!

Period - from 29 March to 1 April 2024.

Performances selected through the selection process will participate in the official festival programme. There is no limit to the genre and duration of the performances. It is desirable that the participants are under 30 years of age.

We invite you to become a part of the Ocean of Love Festival by participating with your performance!

Apply for participation by sending filled application on theatrefest_mdom_pz@abv.bg no later than 17 March 2024, as well as a video of the performance you are applying for. All you have to do is to film an episode of up to 10 minutes and send it to e-mail as an attachment or as a link to a video sharing site. If the performance is not yet finished, you can send footage of the rehearsal process.

After passing the selection for your participation it is necessary:

Send promotional materials for your theatrical product /posters, flyers, photos, trailers, etc./

Entitlement per person - 60 BGN. /To be paid upon registration./

In the festival programme:

- "Festival poster" - performances included in the official selection of the festival;

- Round table discussions of the performances with professional actors, directors and other theatre professionals;

- "Workshop" - theatre workshops with qualified teachers;

- "Open rehearsal" - presentation of performances that are at a certain stage of preparation but are not finished. The audience will see details of the rehearsal process.

- "Drama Lab" - an experimental project involving actors from visiting theatre companies, selected in advance. At the end of the festival, the production of this lab will be presented at a special event.

The "Drama Lab" activities are open and all festival participants can attend as observers.

Further clarifications:

* Participants are entitled to all festival events and up to 3 nights accommodation.

* Subsistence and transport costs are borne by the visiting theatre companies.
